A musical performance, based on one of the most famous plays by Yevgeny Schwartz "An Ordinary Miracle", is a story about each of us, with a pinch of a fairy-tale, without which even the most materialistic, harsh and vain present time cannot exist. The people have almost ceased to believe in miracles, but the fierce power of love and human rebellion is still capable of reaching a level, where the creation of miracles begins. This is something surprising, and ordinary, and funny, and reckless...
For several decades, "An Ordinary Miracle" has been inseparable from the movie by Mark Zakharov, the music by Gennady Gladkov and the lyrics by Yuly Kim. The staging director Sergey Golomazov is a student of Mark Zakharov’s, so this production has become a kind of declaration of love and dedication to the memory of a teacher and mentor. Taking the libretto and wonderful music as a basis, the staging director, designers and actors created "An Ordinary Miracle" of their own – a new, original, and inspired variation. This is not just a romantic story with a happy ending. This is a story about the great capabilities, contained in each of us, about which we often try so hard not to remember.
