“Tourist” is a personal and documentary story about the author’s journey to Kyiv during the fifth year of a full-scale war in Ukraine. However, this is not a play about the horrors of war. On the contrary, it is about people.
About people who are able to maintain optimism, joy of life, and faith in the good even in the most difficult circumstances.

The author and actors share their feelings, caused by this journey, – comical, confusing and also those that are usually kept secret. At the same time, “Tourist” seeks an answer to a broader question: who are we all? Just tourists – coming, experiencing and leaving? Or locals – we are where we are because we are meant to be there? Or is there a third option – there is no logic, and we are the ones who got “lucky” in the course of a huge coincidence? Everyone does what they want. Everyone is alone. There is no answer. Only one thing is clear: humans are amazingly complex, contradictory, and fascinating organisms, born with the potential for all things good and all things evil.
