Among Russian plays there is no better play about actors than "Wood" by Alexander Ostrovsky. For over 140 years it has been protecting and celebrating the profession of an artist, admiring the ability for compassion and loyalty to the moral ideal. And although the play is 13 years older than the Riga Russian Theatre, on the eve of the 130th anniversary, we have decided to make a present to ourselves and the audiences and play this comedy by a company of your favorite actors.
