What can the sea bring to a man? Fish for dinner, beautiful shells, colorful pebbles, a pile of driftwood... and, of course, a lot of impressions. And the ocean? Oh, the ocean naturally does things in a big way and can occasionally give someone a whole mermaid. So the hero of this story gets lucky: he fishes out a mermaid... or rather a dancer... in short, a mysterious strange girl. And, by the way, he fished her out totally in vain, as the heroine, in turn, believes: firstly, she wasn't drowning; secondly, the uninvited savior has a dump instead of a house; thirdly, no, she absolutely doesn't want for this odd and idiotic dude to like her, and he certainly shouldn't fall in love with her, because nothing will come out of it anyway - she knows that for sure! And he... he's willing to do many things to shake that conviction.

Is it possible to keep someone who wants to stay? Where are the roots of love and the limits of patience? How can one learn to trust and hope again? Is the past always destined to determine the future? And what do sharks have to do with all of it?
