On the first day of 1900, on the steamer "Virginia" in an empty lemon box a baby was found... The boy grew up to become a brilliant pianist, although no one taught him how to play. A foster son of the ocean and the piano, Novecento never went ashore; however, he lived a life, full of travel and adventure: in his music, there were Paris and London, Africa and the Arctic... Novecento enchanted his listeners and bewitched his own desires, played "somewhat different notes" and won a musical duel with the "inventor of jazz"... He left with his ship of the world, but the legend – the legend remained...
