A drummer, composer and jazz music practitioner. In 2014, he graduated from the jazz music department of the Latvian Academy of Music, and also studied privately in the USA, Great Britain and Italy. He has collaborated with the leading performers of Latvian rhythmic music (Dons, Daumants Kalniņš, Latvijas Radio Big Bends), and is currently a member of the Instruments group and a member of Jānis Šipkēvics' solo project Shipsea.
