Zane Dombrovska is a versatile artist working as a composer, audiovisual composer, soundscape artist, songwriter, musician, singer and actress. She obtained a master's degree in Audiovisual Composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, participated in master classes at the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki), resided at the Technology Department of the Academy of Music and Theater in Vilnius (2022/2023).
Zane's soundtracks have played on the stages of Latvia's biggest theaters and in several short films. She is skilled in working with acoustic and digital instruments and experienced in exploring surround sound and creating diverse soundscapes for environmental art. In addition, Zane has devoted more than ten years to acting at the Latvian National Theatre. Her achievements include nominations for both acting and musical contribution, and her soundtrack for the Latvian National Theatre's production "Ferdinands and Louise" was publicly recognized with a nomination for the best soundtrack of the year in 2021.
